Mexican gymnast Joseph Solis debuted a new parallel bars skill: a backward giant swing into a salto with a half turn to long hang. He successfully performed it at the 2024 Szombathely World Challenge Cup, earning an "E" value in the Code of Points.
According to the Men’s Code of Points, a skill can be named after a gymnast if it debuts at an official FIG competition, has a difficulty rating of "C" or higher, and is executed without a fall. By meeting all these criteria, Solis's new skill has earned a spot in the code of points.
